In a couple weeks I believe Maverick will compile all the final map releases and then release the official 2010 map competition pak.

Overall it was a great competition and I think that this year's map pak overall is considerably better then last years. I'm very happy with my map. My brush work has improved considerably. My areas of improvement are lighting, ambience, creativeness. I look forward to the next competition smiling

Mapping Competition #2 for Quake 3 Arena

Mappers from the community are encouraged to participate in this competition; both veteran mappers and those looking to get into mapping are welcome to join in on the fun. Prizes will be awarded to the best maps and be judged by the community and players.
:: Official start: May 25th and will run for 10 weeks - ends on August 3rd, right on time for the maps to be shown at QuakeCon 2010!

I had a lot of fun on the last competition so I'm going to give it a go agian but I think this time I'm going to try a CTF map. Or maybe another TDM map.... better make up my mind soon only 3 days left before it starts. shocked
